Anybody who has met me in the last decade has heard about the creative love of my life: my first book, Love on Paper. I started writing it in 2010, during a really complicated and difficult period in my life. I won’t bore you with all the details, but this book saved me in countless ways. It gave me hope and purpose during infertility, business struggles, and the loss of multiple treasured loved ones. But when it came time to publish? I was petrified. It just meant so much to me; I didn’t know how I could let it go.
Last month I went to the very inspiring and motivational 20Booksto50K® conference for authors in Las Vegas and “Whoa, Nell,” as my grandpa used to say—did that thing light a fire under me! I came home on November 15th ready to set my little book free. And that’s exactly what I did on November 28th, when the first episodes of Love on Paper released on Amazon’s new Kindle Vella serialized fiction platform. As a holiday treat, I’m releasing the whole book a few episodes at at time every day during the holidays. I am so excited to share it with you.
