Oh, my heart. My sweet book is out in the world! I don’t even know how to express all the emotions I’ve felt while preparing for the release this past month. I think I can safely boil them all down by saying I’ve been a little nuts. Grateful. Excited. But definitely a little nuts.
But it’s an amazing feeling as well, and I’m so glad it’s finally reality. Because honestly, keeping it so close for so many years has turned the excitement—I wrote a book! A book that I love!—into a kind of stumbling block. I wrote a book, now what do I do with it? Share it, of course, but it was so vulnerable. Even though it’s taken me more years than I like to admit, I’m glad it’s happening now. I’m in a good place with great support and plentiful resources for building my author career. Everything in its own time, as they say—and I’m glad that for me and for Love on Paper, that time is now.
